Under the crisp autumn sky and the fragrance of osmanthus, the 5th Autumn Sports Day of WFL·LG commenced grandly on the green playground on October 30. All teachers and students came together to participate in this grand sporting event.
The ceremony kicked off with a solemn flag-raising ceremony. The parade marched in neat formation: the flag guard led the way, followed by the referee team and class teams. Among them,the student-designed event logo perfectly blends WFL·LG’s unique elements with the sports spirit, symbolizing students’ ambition to shine and create brilliance on the field.
Grade-specific formations marched past the rostrum in succession. Junior high students were full of high spirits, senior high athletes appeared valiant and poised, and primary school children radiated boundless energy. Their unified steps, loud slogans, and creative presentations showcased the vibrant and upward spirit of all WFL·LG students.
The referee representative took an oath to uphold justice and fairness; the athlete representative pledged to embody the sportsmanship. Principal Zheng, in her address, encouraged students to embrace challenges and cooperate closely, then declared the sports Day officially start. A spectacular lion dance performance pushed the atmosphere to a climax—ribbons fluttered, and cheers resounded.
Subsequently, the school-wide broadcast gymnastics competition commenced, featuring the youthful vigor of the primary school's Dreams Set Sail routine and the aspiring spirit of the junior high's Surpass the Peak performance.
